Principle 01
Tested, not guessed
Done and redone in a real house before it reaches you. The timings on the page are the timings we measured.
Our story
Handstoget started with a complaint. Instructions that almost work: a step quietly missing, a tool nobody mentioned you would need, a wall of backstory before the parts list. We set out to publish the opposite — guides you can trust on a Saturday morning, written to be worked from rather than admired.

Meet the workshop
Handstoget is a studio, not a content mill. We publish slowly and on purpose: every job is done, then done again, and any step that trips one of us up gets rewritten before it reaches you. The materials list is already priced. If a project doesn't earn its place, it doesn't ship at all.
The name is about hands. Everything we publish is meant to end up in yours — a socket you wired, a shelf that holds, a wall you finished instead of scrolled past. A project only counts once it has left the page. Handstoget is led by Larissa Trevizam Milesi, who started it after one too many guides that didn't work the first time.
What we believe
Principle 01
Done and redone in a real house before it reaches you. The timings on the page are the timings we measured.
Principle 02
Plain steps beat clever prose. We would rather be easy to follow at the counter than impressive on the page.
Principle 03
DIY well shouldn't depend on what you earn. A share of every sale funds trade education.
See our give-back →Our give-back
As a give-back brand of Handstoget LLC, we pledge a share of every sale to community workshops and trade-training programs — so more people can learn a practical trade on a real budget. It's baked into how we work, not an afterthought.
